• Must hold either a Certified Respiratory Therapy or Registered Respiratory Therapy license within the State of practice.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Respiratory Therapist within the last year (acute and post acute experience accepted).
• Able to provide basic and advanced respiratory services including: medication administration, arterial puncture, breathing exercises, initiation, monitoring and discontinuation of oxygen therapy.
• Must be competent working with common inpatient respiratory equipment including mechanical ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, and nebulizers.
• Knowledgeable of code protocols and participates in the Code Blue and Rapid Responses.Experience setting up and managing Nitrous Oxide is strongly preferred.
